This year, Pinehouse hosted the local science fair, it was attended by 3 other local schools (Churchill, La Loche and Canoe Lake). The 2 day event showcased the best science fair projects in the north, from jumping cereal to elephant toothpaste. These up and coming scientists created a great atmosphere and the judges found it a very tough competition to assess. By the end of the event, all school went home with new Drones for their communities. Pinehouse took home 4th place, which was due to Julianne, Grace and Alicia’s project, also for the first time ever in school history a student from MWS will be competing in the NATIONAL SCIENCE FAIR in Regina, a huge congratulations to Damien for his work on learning techniques!
