Along with a strong athletic presence, Minahik Waskahigan High School offers several clubs for students to participate in. Last year Pinehouse was invited to take part in the regional Drama festival, and took home the top prize! This allowed the entire Drama Club to travel south to participate in the provincial festival. Along with the strong performance in Drama, students from MWS also participated in a regional Science Fair.
The 2017 Science Fair (held in Pinehouse) was attended by 3 other schools from the North. All schools excelled at this event, taking home top prizes. The Pinehouse Lakers did extremely well, led by Damian Georges project on learning techniques who placed 2nd overall.
MWS also supports a wide variety of clubs, inclusive to all students.
